Collaborations

Institutions such as the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art collect my art because they recognize I push creative boundaries. I also push the boundaries of commercial art with my bespoke collaborations with elite brands and design studios. I utilize a unique blend of fine art sensibility, innovative problem-solving, and cutting-edge 3D technology to craft visual experiences that step outside the norm to reach audiences on the periphery. My commitment to artistry and innovation ensures my clients will have outside outcomes. Let’s create something extraordinary together.

Qventus AI

Qventus helps leading hospitals and health systems optimize patient flow by utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence. I worked with Gilmour Craves to design and illustrate a Artificial Intelligence “animated wave” as part of a larger brand refresh.

The Qventus story is about automating patient flow to create exceptional outcomes. This story is encapsulated in the Artificial Intelligence “wave” that’s comprised of paths which represent the patient journey through the hospital. And each patient is represented by one of the dots. Patients typically experience congestion in specific areas, represented by the bright purple. Qventus alleviates this problem and helps accelerate patients on their path to discharge, represented by the blue.

United Nations

'Envisioning Change' is an exhibit presented by the Natural World Museum and United Nations Environmental Programme, made to inspire and engage the public in environmental awareness. Commissioned by Autodesk, I contributed three original pieces that represent Autodesk customers' visionary thinking in the area of sustainable design. My work sought to express how each project harnesses and exploits innovation energy alternatives that benefit surrounding infrastructures and the environment. Envisioning Change has inspired an estimated 1.2 million visitors from the creative, scientific, educational, commercial, and government sectors.

Apple Computer

In 1998, Apple introduced the world to the first truly stylish computer: the iMac. With its innovative translucent plastic design by Jonathan Ives and an array of candy-coated colors, Apple had elevated the personal computer to an art object and status symbol. I was already working on computer graphics for Apple, alongside Andy Dyfuss and Hiroki Asai. In 2001, I was asked to create logos and icons for Apple’s hardware and software. I designed the much-loved shiny, colorful branding for the early to mid-2000s era iMacs, as well as OS9, OSX, QuickTime, and other Apple products. This suite of digital illustrations would go on to define Apple’s new identity in the form of packaging, posters, retail merchandising, and web collateral.

Autodesk

Autodesk is a leader in 3D design software, and they wanted a new look for their professional suite of software products. After a few rounds of studies, we went with a simple, clean treatment. I 3D modeled, lit, and rendered their logo in a futuristic metal/glass material I created. The lighting was created to give an element of mystery and add intrigue. Autodesk was so pleased with the designs that they used them for packaging, web, advertising and video for three times the amount of time as originally intended.

Adobe

Adobe wanted a sleek, modern look for the branding of its new Creative Suite and video software. Working in collaboration with art director Brett Wickens, we brainstormed and conceptualized possible designs. Brett then set me loose to design abstractions that symbolized each products main attribute. The final abstractions were 3D sculpted, lit, and rendered. The 3D illustrations were used throughout Adobe’s software packaging and product marketing.

Keith is an amazingly talented artist. I’ve known Keith for over 20 years and he was very instrumental in helping our young agency land many new clients due to his “magical talents” with early Photoshop. I can’t say enough great things about Keith. Patient, persistent, hard working, innovative. And more...
— Tom Suiter, Co-Founder, Head of Enjoy Creative
It was a pleasure working with Keith on a number of seminal design projects for Adobe during the invention of its Creative Suite transformation. His talents as a designer, artist and digital illustrator combine into a singular unique craft. This gift is what makes the difference between creating ordinary communications and extraordinary ones. He just gets it — and I really like working with him.
